How did Flora Nolia get into modelling?
We were contacted on Instagram and asked if our oldest daughter would be interested in trying out modelling.
Our thoughts were very much about what it would require of us as a family and our everyday life with jobs and leisure and whether it would be possible for us to take time off when a job is offered. We also spoke about the pros and cons to our daughter and her life. We discussed whether it would affect her school and to what extent we would be able to control it and if we were even interested in seeing her face in magazines, on posters and pictures in supermarkets etc. without our control over what is shared.
We also decided that Flora Nolia should not know that she is making money from her modelling jobs. She has to do it out of desire and pleasure and the financial part is an adult responsibility as long as she is so young.
What were your expectations when becoming a kid model?
We did not really have any expectations other than being met professionally and with great respect for the children when they work and we have not been met with anything else than this. It is Flora Nolia who sets the bar and the standard.
She is a model until she does not want to be a model anymore. It is completely on her terms. She does the best she can and that is what gives her more or less. It must feel natural and there is a lot of learning in achieving things by your own power of action. She is doing so well and I doubt she will want to stop again. She is very fond of the shoots and often asks for new ones.

What was Flora Nolia’s first impression when being on job?
Flora Nolia’s first impression was so good. It was pure play and games for her – both in terms of styling and the photoshoot. She always comes out of there very proud with her chin high. She talks a lot about getting her hair done.
On the set, they are so sweet, educational, patient and play with the kids throughout. Flora Nolia is easy to work with, patient and responsive. Even when younger children are present, we really experience how good they are on set at seeing the children and also saying stop before it is too much. We are very impressed with the handling and care.
