LIYA’S FIRST JOB

Recently, Liya attended her very first job, which took place in Copenhagen for Zara Kids. What were their thoughts before the job and how did the days go? Liya and her mother, Félicité, let us in on everything.

What were your thoughts before Liyas first job?

There was uncertainty. It was her first time and we didn’t know how Liya would handle being around so many people she hasn’t seen before. We were excited too because we thought is would be fun, exciting and a good experience for her.

How did the days go?

We arrived the day before and then we went to the hotel which was booked for Liya. She was very excited and couldn’t stop talking about taking pictures for Zara. The next day, it was great to start the day with a good breakfast and after that she was ready to go to work. The first day, it went fine, and then she got tired and she asked to stop. There were different activities for the children to try. She was very happy about that and about the team who played with her and the other children. The team was very nice, smiling and patient. She got to play with the other girls who were also at the shoot the next day. They played hide and seek, ran around etc. Drinks, good, lunch and treats were served throughout the day, which she was very happy about. Sometimes taking pictures was fine. Other times, she refused to join unless I was with her in the picture as well. She knew what she wanted and what she didn’t want to do, but she did the best she could. The rest of the days, we went for a walk at Strøget and around the city.

What did Liya think was the most fun about modeling?

She thinks it was fun to get ready and have her hair done by a hairdresser. Trying on new clothes, playing with beads, drawing as well as playing with the other children.
